Our client is a top tier Investment Bank who currently recruiting Soft's Commodity Trade Support Analyst.
This role is predominately working with Softs & Ags Commodities product knowledge in this area is essential. Relationships will be sustained with the Front Office; this team is situated on the trading desk to enable direct support to sales/trading teams. Middle office integration and cross product support with the middle office support functions. The ideal candidate will be a second jobber as this is a junior role with experience from a Middle Office perspective.
Tasks:
Softs & Ags commodity knowledge (essential)
Broker reconciliation
Intraday reconciliation between exchange and internal booking system
Intraday position checks and notification to trading desk
Trade checkout and validation
Intraday trader book reconciliation
Ad hoc query investigation and resolution
Trade break investigation
Direct liaison with Exchange
PnL Risk Reporting internally
Options\Futures exercise and expiry
Confirms\Settlements for downstream queries
MIS collation and reporting
Procedure maintenance and development
Qualifications
Systems knowledge: Endur (Openlink), Athena desirable
Experience in working in close proximity to a trading-floor environment
Product knowledge - Commodities and more specifically Softs & Ags experience (essential)
Excellent people skills
Excellent team player
Ability to work proactively unsupervised
