The Role:Our client, a leading Consultancy group requires a strong Compliance Manager to work within the FSA compliance consultancy team, assisting with client monitoring for a range of clients and with ad hoc questions as they arise. This role will also be involved in overseeing the FSA compliance of the consultancy itself which has an investment advisory and corporate finance registration. The role will also be to assist with the marketing and development of the FSA compliance team and services provided. Core responsibilities will include understanding and then responding to enquiries, researching and monitoring changes within FSA rulebooks, producing written reports, assisting firms with mock ARROW visits, and internally contributing to staff motivation and development.

The Candidate:
As a Compliance Manager you will have experience gained within a similar accountancy or consulting firm. Ideally qualified FPC/SII, you will have good understanding of the FSA handbook, in particular COBS, SYSC, BIPRU or IPRU (INV). Experience interpreting FSA rules, writing formal reports to the board are preferred, along with excellent analytical and people management skills. You will be a self starter, able to work as part of a team and without supervision and will possess excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills.
